New guests are offered a complimentary 20-minute consultation before any color, extension or corrective service. The consultation reviews hair goals, lifestyle, maintenance preferences and past hair history, and also covers pricing, timing and a longer-term hair plan. Common consultation paths include lived-in blonde, dimensional brunette, extensions and full color transformations.

Extensions are by consultation only and are made of 100% real hair, placed close to the scalp by weaving, braiding or bonding. Methods include clip-ins, tape-ins, sewn and beaded wefts, I-tips, K-tips and hand-tied wefts. Theory uses Bellami Professional Hair Extensions exclusively. Each extension service begins with a consultation covering color match, installation method and a maintenance plan, and an Extension Agreement covering expectations, maintenance, pricing and care is reviewed and signed at that visit.

Quoted prices are minimums, so the final cost may rise after a consultation based on the stylist's experience and training, hair length and thickness, and how much product is used. Haircuts don't cover hot tools like curling irons or flat irons; those can be added for an extra charge. Longer or thicker hair may also carry an additional fee. Advanced-level services are booked with a stylist who has more than twenty years in the field, and expert-level services are booked with one of the owners. Appointments are secured with a valid credit card on file. To cancel or reschedule, clients must call at least 24 hours ahead; a last-minute cancellation is billed the full price of the service. Children are welcome only while they're getting a service. Service and retail purchases are non-refundable.
