Nail work runs on a schedule. A fill is booked about two to two and a half weeks after a set goes on. Once nails pass three weeks, the visit becomes a re-balance, which keeps the existing set and rebuilds it, a process that takes more time and detail than starting a full set. If more than four nails are missing, the salon books a full set rather than a fill-in. Nails put on by another technician are not filled in here; those clients are booked for a full set, a pedicure and a soak-off first.
The client gives the technician creative control over the look, and the work can include marble effects, nail art, ombre, charms and gems, 3D pieces and airbrushing. Picture or recreation sets are booked as add-ons and priced the same way add-ons are.
Pedicures come in a wet version, which includes a foot soak, an exfoliating scrub and cuticle care, and a dry version, which focuses on dry cuticle care. Both include polish removal and one color, with add-ons available at booking. Several packages pair a full set or French tip with a pedicure in one appointment.
