The Waxing Spot describes itself as a full-service waxing salon in Buford, serving both women and men. The business is led by founder Patricia Carvalho, and its team is made up of licensed estheticians.

About

Visits are meant to feel professional but relaxed, with comfort, courtesy and discretion guiding each appointment. Clients can book online or by calling the studio. The salon is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm and Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and it is closed on Sundays.

Sugaring is a major part of the menu. The paste is made from lemon, sugar and water, rolled onto the skin and removes hair from the root. The business describes sugaring as hypoallergenic and suited to clients who are prone to ingrown hairs, allergies, rashes or razor burn. Brazilian waxing, which removes hair from the belly button to the buttocks at the front and back, is described by the business as its most popular service.

Laser hair removal uses diode laser technology and is offered as single sessions or 8-session packages priced by body area. The treatment targets pigment in the follicle and is done in a series, with most clients needing roughly six to eight sessions. A 15-minute laser consultation is available before booking a series.

Skin care and brow services include microdermabrasion, an oxygen-based Oxy Trio facial, chemical peels, V-Glow, brow tinting, brow lamination, microblading and lash tinting. According to the salon's reviews page, Google reviews average 4.8 out of 5 across 345 reviews.

Each visit aims to strike a balance between polished and easygoing. Guests can expect comfort, courteous service and privacy guiding every appointment.

The space is described as clean and aesthetically pleasing.
