The Waxing Room was opened by owner Erin Temple after she returned to Southern California and built a following in Orange County. The studio offers hard wax, applied without strips, and soft strip wax, using European waxes and products.

Treatment rooms are private, self-contained and sanitized. The studio says it follows all state board guidelines for sanitation, and that its products are hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.

Services are grouped into brows and lashes, women's waxing, men's waxing and general body waxing. Brow and lash options include waxing, tinting, lamination and lifts, with a deluxe combo that bundles wax, tint, lamination and lift. Spray tans use an organic solution with a one-hour express finish and a range of shades for different skin tones.

Before a waxing appointment, hair should be about 3/4 inch long, roughly the length of a grain of rice, and clients usually need about three weeks without shaving. Services are declined if hair is too short to grip with fingertips. Companions are not allowed in the treatment room. A parent or guardian may join a client under 16 but is not required to, and anyone under 18 needs a signed consent form. The studio recommends waxing every 4 to 6 weeks and advises avoiding workouts after waxing to reduce breakouts. Member pricing is offered on listed services, with non-member prices higher.
