Before a first appointment, new clients fill out a consultation and consent form, and returning clients complete the same step. Waxing is done with both soft wax and hard wax. Guests who are not having a service themselves are not permitted in the room, and clients are asked to arrive freshly bathed.
The brow menu ranges from a simple wax to a combined package of lamination, precision waxing and a custom brow stain, which the studio says can last 7 to 14 days with aftercare. Brow lamination with waxing is described as lasting 6 to 8 weeks with aftercare. The facial menu includes the Vajacial, a facial designed for the vulva that involves no waxing; it includes a detox cleanse, steam, extractions, hand massage, high-frequency treatment, a soothing masque and hydration. It can be paired with a Brazilian wax.
The studio also runs a two-day Wax Like a Pro intensive for up to four students, led by Tyricka H. It covers Brazilian and underarm waxing, vajacials, extractions, client positioning and business basics. Participants must be currently enrolled in an esthetics school or have completed an esthetics program, and they receive a certificate of completion.
Cancellations are requested at least 48 hours ahead and can be made from booking emails. Cancelling after the 24-hour mark, or arriving more than 10 minutes late, may result in a 60% charge. One reschedule is allowed with the deposit transferred. Clients who repeatedly do not cancel or show up may be banned from booking.
The studio aims for careful, precise waxing and states that it wants to offer the best service it can.
