The Wax Nest is a waxing studio at 1322 E Algonquin Rd in Algonquin, Illinois, set within Posh Suites across the road from Jewel. The owner, Jess E, runs the studio after many years working in waxing.

The menu covers small areas such as the lips, chin, cheeks and ears, along with brows, underarms, hands, back, chest, arms, legs and the bikini area. Session times are listed for each service, from about 10 minutes for a small spot up to 35 minutes for a full leg.

Services are by appointment only and are booked online. The studio is open Tuesday from noon to 7 PM, and Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 7 PM, and is closed Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Clients who cannot attend are asked to tell the studio as soon as possible so they can reschedule. Payment is accepted.

Eyebrow tinting darkens the brow in several color options and lasts approximately 3 to 6 weeks. A client review on the site describes the owner as a master at her craft, which is the reviewer's own view.
