The salon offers guidance before and after a visit. Before waxing, it suggests hair be at least a quarter inch long and not trimmed beforehand, with three to four weeks of growth since the last shave, and that gels, lotions and oils be avoided. After waxing, it advises skipping exercise, hot showers, saunas, steam, spray tanning, sun bathing and swimming in chlorinated or salt water for the first 24 hours, then gentle exfoliation three to five days later. Waxing every four to six weeks is suggested to keep skin smooth.

The salon sells PFB Serum and Zandi-K Deck Scrub and Moisturizer, which it recommends after exfoliation. Hydrocortisone is suggested as needed to soothe irritation after waxing.

Prep and aftercare guidance is a central part of each visit, covering hair length and product use beforehand, activity limits afterward, and gentle exfoliation and soothing as needed.
