The studio aims for waxing that is quick, fairly priced and comfortable. Brazilian waxing is the owner's specialty, and a Brazilian usually takes under 15 minutes. Waxing is done with a soy-based soft wax that the business describes as hypoallergenic and antimicrobial, heated at a lower temperature. Before a visit, hair should be at least a quarter inch long and two weeks past shaving. Pubic hair longer than an inch can be trimmed, but not shorter than half an inch. Clients are advised to wax every four to six weeks and to avoid shaving between waxes.
Some add-ons are only offered alongside a bikini service. The studio does not wax male anatomy and refers those clients to other providers in the metro area. Clients taking listed acne medications such as Accutane should contact the studio before waxing and wait at least six months after use. Clients using alpha hydroxy acids, retinol, salicylic acid, blood thinners, or peels and lasers are asked to stop those before waxing. For 24 to 48 hours after a visit, the studio advises avoiding the gym, hot tubs, saunas, long bike rides and friction on the area.
Aims for waxing that is quick, affordable and comfortable, in an open and compassionate setting that also makes room for learning.
