The Wax Cliniq

The Wax Cliniq offers body waxing with heated hard wax and other topical agents, along with Brazilian waxing. Appointments run from 15 to 60 minutes depending on what is booked, and the schedule leaves 10 minutes between clients.

Intimate bleaching is also offered, but clients must call the studio at 586-339-0055 before booking it. Afterward, clients are asked to stay out of direct sun on the treated area for a week and to avoid laser hair removal and waxing for three to five days.

Before a Brazilian wax, clients are asked to avoid alcohol and stimulants such as caffeine, skip lotion right before the visit, and let the hair grow to about a quarter inch rather than shaving between waxes. Afterward, the area should be exfoliated and hydrated, and swimming, tanning, working out and alcohol-based products should be avoided on it for 24 hours. The studio will not wax irritated skin or areas with open sores, and clients should tell the waxer about allergies, health conditions or medications beforehand.

Teeth whitening is listed as a service, with aftercare advice to limit coffee, tea, wine, berries, tomato sauce and tobacco to help keep teeth bright. Payment can be made in cash or through Cash App, which must be completed before the service. Deposits are non-refundable and create a binding agreement, late arrivals of more than 5 minutes incur a $15 fee, and appointments not attended within 10 minutes are canceled, with a $20 deposit to rebook.
