The Tulip Room is a salon at 8405 Nowlen Street in Mentor, Ohio, owned by Taylor Dmitriev, who is also a stylist there and has been doing hair for 15 years. The salon now operates in a space of its own, a new stage for the business.
The hair menu covers haircuts for little boys and girls, teens, men and women, along with blowdries, styling and updos. The color menu is wide: root touch-ups, halo and half or full head highlights, double process blonde, balayage, all-over color and color correction. Many color and cut services can be booked to leave hair wet or to include a blowdry or haircut, and bang trims and eyebrow tints are also offered.
Treatments include conditioning and a keratin express option, and waxing is available for lip, chin and eyebrows. Hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM; the salon is closed Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. New clients booking double process blonde pay a $50 deposit, and clients who cannot keep an appointment are asked to let the salon know as soon as possible so it can be rescheduled.
