The SupaStar Experience

Courtney is a licensed cosmetologist with more than 20 years of work in hair, and the salon's menu is built around haircuts, relaxers and styling. Every service includes a hydrating shampoo and a conditioning treatment. Haircuts are customized to the client and finished with a style. Relaxer services use the Affirm Fiber-Guard Sensitive Scalp Relaxer and can be applied to the full head or to the edges only. A virgin relaxer with a haircut is offered for hair that has never been relaxed and is the longest booking on the menu.

Booking is planned ahead. Services must be reserved before the appointment day and cannot be added on the day. New clients start with a haircut, and so do existing clients who have gone five or more weeks without one. Anyone who needs a short cut and has thinning edges, alopecia or heavy shedding is asked to book a consultation first. Consultations are held by email over 15 minutes and require clear photos of the areas of concern. Appointments can be rescheduled once. Time estimates are approximate because preparation, styling, processing and drying times vary. Cancellations made at least 48 hours ahead are refunded, while no-call no-shows, same-day cancellations and arrivals 15 or more minutes late can forfeit the deposit and be charged the full booked amount.
