The Suites by Radiance Vadnais Heights

The Suites by Radiance is locally owned and operated and rents private suites to independent hair, body and wellness providers who run their own businesses. It grew out of Radiance Medspa, which has been operating since 2007 next to the Woodbury location. The suites were added so Radiance Medspa clients could also book hair, body and wellness services.

The Woodbury suites are in central Woodbury, beside the medspa. The Vadnais Heights location opened after Woodbury was fully occupied. It sits next to Aesthetics Academy, a school for nurses and estheticians, and is close to coffee shops, restaurants, fast food, a grocery store, fitness centers and other shopping.

The business describes its suites as handcrafted for hair, body and wellness work. A single suite of 120 to 135 square feet costs $199 per week, or $229 per week with a Belvedere styling station. A double suite of 190 to 210 square feet costs $349 per week, or $409 per week with two Belvedere styling stations. Consolidating two single suites into one space of 240 to 270 square feet starts at $400 per week, or $460 per week with two Belvedere styling stations.

The weekly price covers internet, utilities (electrical, heating and air conditioning, and water), laundry and parking. Suite customization is also included, such as wallpaper, painting, lighting, electrical work, cabinetry assembly and plumbing. Each suite is accessed with a 24-hour key fob, and the building has a security system.

Providers are part of a community of other small business owners, especially in hair, body and wellness, while keeping a private, independent space of their own. Providers set their own schedules and work environment.
