The Strip Joint LLC is a waxing studio on North 7th Street in Phoenix. Its focus is gender-neutral Brazilian waxing and intimate skin lightening, with full-body waxing, brows and packages alongside. The studio says it welcomes every body and aims for an inclusive, non-judgmental experience, and it describes its work as precise and experienced.
Full-body and facial options include underarm, leg, back, arm, stomach and brow waxing. The intimate menu includes several Brazilian waxes, a gender-neutral Val-Velvet Vajacial with a double cleanse, chemical exfoliation, extractions, a mud mask, micro-current skin softening and ingrown hair oil, and vajazzles, which are jewels placed on the pubic bone or buttocks. Male Brazilian waxing is limited to established male clients who have had the service at the studio before. New male clients are not accepted, and requests need approval before they are confirmed.
Monthly Brazilian Maintenance memberships come in female and male versions, each with one Brazilian wax every four weeks, priority booking and member discounts. Plus versions add an underarm wax. Memberships require a three-month minimum. The Bestie Brazilian is a two-person service with $20 off when booked with a friend.
Booking requires a deposit, which is applied to the service price. Cancellations and reschedules need 24 hours' notice, and changes made inside that window are charged the full price. No-shows are charged the full price and must place a new deposit. Clients may reschedule once before a new deposit is required, and have a 10-minute grace period after their appointment time. Arriving late may incur a $15 fee, and the full service price still applies. Refunds are not offered, so concerns must be raised during the visit or within 24 hours after it. Card payments carry a 3.5% processing fee, cash requires exact change, and balances must be paid before leaving. A waiver must be signed before the appointment. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval. Hours are Tuesday 12 PM to 7 PM, Thursday 10 AM to 7 PM, Friday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM, closed Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
The studio describes its approach as welcoming and non-judgmental, with an inclusive experience for every body.
According to the studio, the space is neon-accented, private and clean.
