About

The Source of Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2014, with Quynh Chau Stone named as a co-founder. It receives no government funding and relies on volunteers, partners, and donors to run its programs. Its mission centers on bringing hope and healing through meals, education, wellness, and resources for communities in need, and its stated vision is a community where every person has the wellness, skills, and community to thrive.

The organization describes itself as five nonprofits in one, covering holistic health and wellness, outdoor education, entrepreneurship and workforce development, community service, and academic mentorship. It says its work aims at lasting change rather than short-term help.

Wellness of Hope Clinic is the wellness program at the Plano office. It offers holistic treatments such as fire cupping, lymphatic drainage, and ear detox, and a holistic assessment helps people choose suitable treatments. Free or reduced-cost treatments are available to eligible low-income individuals, seniors, teachers and mentors, veterans, and first responders. Free haircuts go to senior citizens 65 and older, teachers, firefighters, police officers, and veterans, and free makeovers are offered to eligible low-income individuals.

Reduced-cost cosmetic services and wellness classes are open to the general public, provided in partnership with Stone International Wellness Center. The clinic's cosmetic offerings are grouped into facial and body treatments, hair services, and permanent cosmetics.

Beyond the clinic, the organization runs education, meal, food-distribution, and outdoor programs, and it lists volunteer roles, internships, and paid student positions through partner universities including the University of Texas at Dallas.

Treatments are offered on a free or reduced-cost basis to eligible community members, with holistic assessments used to guide each person toward suitable services.
