The Sleek Peach Co is a waxing business in Livermore, run by owner Brittany Nunes. According to the business, it was created to help women feel confident, comfortable and seen during a service that many people find daunting.
Brazilian waxing has several tiers: Bare Peach for new clients and anyone not seen in six weeks, Modest Peach, which leaves as much hair on top as the client likes, and Reserved Peach, which is front only and can leave a booty or labia strip. Maintenance Brazilians are for current clients returning every four to six weeks, and a Brazilian with upper leg requires a $50 deposit.
Bookings are made by text or phone. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 12 hours' notice, and no-shows are charged the full cost of the service. Hours vary by day: Monday 9 AM to 2 PM, Wednesday 11 AM to 6 PM, Thursday 9 AM to 12:30 PM, Friday 10 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 10 AM to 3 PM. The studio is closed on Tuesdays.
Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 or $200 amounts, or a custom amount. Gift card sales are final.
The owner aims to make waxing, which many people find intimidating, feel smooth and empowering.
