About

The Skin Lab Medical Spa sits in Bakersfield and brings medical aesthetics and health and wellness services together under one roof. The business says its aim is to enhance each client's natural beauty through treatment plans shaped around that client's goals.

A visit usually starts with a conversation about what the client hopes to achieve and what their skin or body needs. The team then builds a plan for that person rather than offering a set menu. A Get to Know You consultation is available, and it includes a follow-up after a procedure.

Injectables include Botox, which the business says can be used to smooth lines and, clinically, for excessive sweating, hands and migraines; Dysport for wrinkles; filler; and Sculptra, which works to restore facial volume by encouraging natural collagen. Laser options include PicoSure Pro for pigmentation, sun damage, dark spots, acne scars, fine lines and uneven tone, Elite IQ for hair reduction the business describes as permanent, and SkinGlo for skin renewal on the chest, face, neck and hands. Potenza RF microneedling combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy.

Facials range from a Mini Facial for tweens and teens ages 8 to 17 to Express, Classic with dermaplaning, Custom and Glace options, plus several levels of Hydrafacial. Peels include BioRePeel, VI Peel, a ZO 3-Step Peel and a Date Night Peel that requires a $50 deposit. Hair services include restoration using PRP and PRFM and Keravive scalp treatments.

Each treatment plan begins with learning the client's beauty goals and needs, and is then personalized to enhance their natural features.
