The Shop is operated by SOAk Salon and sits at 282 North Main Street in uptown Doylestown, in a building that dates to 1855. The setting keeps a traditional barbershop feel.
Guests can have a refreshment while they wait or relax. Free parking is available along Main Street and Spruce Street.
Barber services include a classic cut, where the style is chosen by the client and done with clippers, scissors or both, and a classic cut with light beard shaping and edge work. Beard work is available on its own as an in-depth service that includes full reshaping when needed. A straight razor shave is offered, and a kids' cut for guests 14 and under can be any style the child picks.
Nick Marciante is the solo barber, and online booking with him is available Tuesday through Saturday. Requests to reschedule or cancel need at least 24 hours' notice, except in an emergency. Arriving more than 10 minutes late or not showing up is charged in full.
