Founder Lala is a licensed cosmetologist who works as a Healthy Hair Specialist, a Protective Styling Specialist and an Educator. Her listed services include braids, locs, natural hair care, silk presses, extensions, color, protective styling and treatments. Beyond the chair, she creates and teaches through Eleganti Education, which offers hands-on classes, mentorship and easy-to-follow resources in hair care and styling.

The salon also runs The Crown Academy, a free, hands-on beauty program for middle and high school students in Pittsburg, Antioch and nearby areas. Each session covers basic hair care, braiding, styling and beauty techniques, and sessions take place on the third Sunday of every month. Seats are limited, so registration is required. Students who want tools of their own can purchase an optional youth kit, but a kit is not required to take part. Braiding and loc care classes are open to beginners, cosmetology students and licensed professionals. Depending on the class, topics include preparing hair and scalp, making clean parts, sectioning, choosing products, braiding technique, loc upkeep and styling.

The business also sells retail items, including Liquid Gold Hair Oil, Rose Essence Loc & Braid Mist, several e-books for braiders and parents, and extension hair in tape-in and Miracle Knot formats. Shipping is within the United States only. Hair purchases should be placed at least 7 business days before the installation or needed-by date, and delivery dates are not guaranteed. Hair extensions and other retail items cannot be returned for a change of mind, and digital products are final sale. Damaged or incorrect items should be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photos. Completed services are non-refundable.
