The Serenity Room Day Spa is a day spa in Arlington, Texas, at 600 Six Flags Drive. The business describes itself as a hidden gem of Arlington. Booksy shows a 4.9 rating from 334 reviews. The business is built on the belief that holistic massage helps relieve everyday stress and tension, and it states that it is licensed and insured.
Visits are by appointment only, and walk-ins are not accepted. A deposit is required to book, and new clients must have a consultation, according to Booksy. Clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early, when the therapist meets them in the lobby. The space has no waiting area and is limited, so clients are asked not to bring extra people. The main doors are locked on weekends, and weekend appointments are offered. According to Booksy, hours are Tuesday to Friday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and closed Monday.
Treatments take place in private, intimate spa suites in a non-traditional space. Massage is the core of the menu, with integrated sessions that combine several modalities in one visit, along with specialty massages for prenatal and postpartum clients, couples, and clients who want reflexology or a seated chair massage. Body treatments include an exfoliating body scrub with aromatherapy oil and Dead Sea salt, an aloe herbal body detox wrap, and ultrasonic body cavitation, a noninvasive treatment using low-frequency sound waves that the business says may reduce inches on treated areas. Facial services range from a 30-minute express facial to a customized signature facial and a micro-dermabrasion and chemical peel facial.
Holistic services include Reiki energy healing, empowerment meditation, and private yoga lessons tailored to health, body type, and lifestyle. Clients can also book an herbal consultation, after which custom herbal supplements, teas, tinctures, and blends can be formulated.
A membership program offers monthly massage rates, according to the membership page and Booksy, along with 20 percent off additional services, a retail discount, rollover of unused sessions, and sharing with one additional person. Gift cards can be bought online in any amount and used for massage, body treatments, waxing, Reiki, meditation, or yoga. Retail merchandise is sold in the spa.
Massage is delivered as an integrated approach that combines several services and modalities within one session. The spa's philosophy is that holistic massage helps relieve everyday stress and tension.
