The studio began as a passion project aimed at people who have struggled with hair loss. It operates from Suite 205 on Los Feliz Boulevard, a short drive from Glendale, Silver Lake and Hollywood, with free parking on site. Walk-ins are not accepted, so every visit is booked ahead.
A visit starts with a free, private consultation, held in person at the studio or virtually for clients who live out of town or prefer remote scheduling. During it, the artist evaluates the scalp, talks through goals and previews a hairline design. Clients receive a treatment plan with a session timeline and pricing, along with before-and-after photos of similar cases. The salon says consultations involve no sales pressure. Pricing depends on how much hair is lost, how large the treated area is and whether scar coverage or correction is needed, and a detailed quote is given up front with no hidden fees. Hairlines can be soft, hard or hybrid.
Treatment is built in layers over several sessions, with healing time in between. The first session runs two to three hours and makes an initial pass from hairline to crown. The second, one to two hours, fills faded areas and refines the crown and temples. The third and fourth sessions, about an hour each, focus on the crown, fine detail and blending. Afterward, clients are asked to use daily SPF and avoid strenuous activity, sweating and intense exercise for about four days. Results are described as lasting four to six years, and optional touch-ups help keep color and sharpness. Pigment can be corrected or removed with laser if needed.
Scar camouflage covers linear FUT scars, dot-pattern FUE scars, trauma or injury scars and surgical or medical scalp scars. It may take three to four sessions, depending on how the scar tissue responds, and a test dot is sometimes placed first. Candidates should have scars that are fully healed, at least six to twelve months old, with no active inflammation or infection.
Men and women are served, across all Fitzpatrick skin types I to VI and all hair types. Clients with alopecia areata, alopecia totalis or traction alopecia are seen, as are people revising earlier SMP work. The studio is clear that SMP does not treat alopecia itself; it camouflages the look of hair loss.
Pigment is custom-matched to each client's hair and skin tone and designed to fade naturally over time, and the work is applied in layers with healing time between sessions.
