The Sanford House

The property sits on about two acres of landscaped grounds roughly halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth, about a mile from AT&T Stadium and about fifteen minutes south of DFW airport. The main house was built in the style of a Southern mansion with a wraparound porch. The inn, restaurant and event spaces are at 506 N Center St, and the spa and salon is across the street at 501 N Center St.

The dining rooms took on the Restaurant506 name in April 2013. The Van Gogh Lounge started as the living quarters of the original proprietors and became a bar and lounge after they retired. According to the business, it is the top bed and breakfast in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and it also offers full-service spa treatments, fine dining, a bar and lounge, and space for weddings and corporate events. Rates can change without notice, and weekend rates may vary with holidays and Cowboys stadium events.

The venue hosts weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate events and holiday parties for up to 200 guests, with indoor and outdoor spaces including a stone courtyard, gardens, a raised wedding pavilion and an octagonal gazebo. Catering is created by the Restaurant506 culinary team, full-bar service is available, and private rooms for groups up to 60 are in the Manor House. Wedding Party Packages start at $175, and bridal party hair and makeup can be arranged on request. A bus with a certified driver can carry up to 16 people per trip to AT&T Stadium.

Restaurant506 combines classic cooking methods with fresh ingredients, and the dinner menu changes with the seasons to use the freshest available produce. Spa services are organized into named packages that list the treatments included.
