The Sacred Basin

The Sacred Basin was created by owner Patti Valvo as a calmer alternative to the typical salon. It operates as a private studio rather than a walk-in salon, so each visit is booked ahead and kept to one guest at a time.

The studio is open Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 3pm, by appointment only. Appointments can be reserved several weeks in advance by calling or texting the studio, since the business does not offer online booking.

The signature Sole Meditative Pedicure is a 90-minute ritual priced at $95. It begins with a soak of Himalayan salt, magnesium and sea salt with essential oils and citrus, then moves through a lavender-mint scrub, a spearmint clay mask, aromatherapy steam and warm towels, and finishes with a FarmHouse Fresh Hot Honey Heel Glaze. Massage and cupping, a tuning-fork sound ritual, an IRIS robotic eye-and-temple massager and gel polish are also part of the service.

Beyond the signature pedicure, the menu covers a Gel Pedicure at $75 with detailed foot and nail care and long-wearing gel polish, a Spa Manicure at $60 with added skin care, and a Manicure at $45 with natural-nail and cuticle care. An Ionic Detox Foot Soak is offered at $50, and Cat Eye Gel and Chrome finishes can be added for $10 each.

In-studio shoppers can browse a sizeable, shifting assortment of FarmHouse Fresh facial care, body products, bath items and gift sets to buy on site. The brand's range can also be ordered online through a partner link, and the owner may receive a commission on qualifying orders placed that way.

The studio describes its services as organic and mindfully selected, and every visit is given one-on-one in a private studio.

The studio has warm lighting, a private treatment chair and a zero-gravity chair.
