The Reset was created as a space where clients can unwind and have their hair done without feeling rushed. Founder Allana Hampton runs it as a one-on-one studio, and appointments are scheduled without rushing or overbooking.

Services are by appointment only, and each visit is planned around the hair's current condition, maintenance needs and styling goals. New guests begin with the New Guest option and may be asked to send photos or complete a consultation before booking is confirmed. The price and time of a first visit can shift with length, density, condition, buildup, past repairs and time since the last maintenance. Returning guests can book routine hair care or loc maintenance directly.

The blowout menu runs from a Protective Hair Prep through Dreamcoat, Cut and Blowout of Choice, and Gloss and Silk Blowout, with combined cut and color options. Color work covers lightening, dimensional color, gray coverage, and color on natural hair or locs, and a consultation is required before booking. Scalp care can be added to selected services or recommended after a consultation, and can include a visual scalp check, clarifying cleanse, gentle exfoliation, detox or hydration treatment, steam or conditioning support, a relaxing scalp massage, and at-home product suggestions.

The studio handles locs in three ways: starter loc installation, Loc Maintenance Resets scheduled every four to six weeks, and Established Loc Care for regular clients. Hair and scalp consultations happen over private video and conclude with a personalized Hair and Scalp Reset Plan. Those consultations provide cosmetic guidance only and do not amount to a medical diagnosis or treatment. Clients who report abrupt hair loss, open wounds, marked inflammation, bleeding, infection, or ongoing scalp discomfort might be referred to a dermatologist or another licensed medical professional.

Care is personalized to each guest's hair and scalp condition, maintenance needs and styling goals, with services scheduled at an unhurried pace.
