The Peel Parlour

The Peel Parlour is a skin care studio in Poway, owned by Jennifer Titus, a licensed esthetician since 2014. The studio's stated aim is to make every client a priority and to help them feel accepted and safe in the treatment room.

Every visit starts with a skin consultation, and the treatment is customized to the client's skin on that day. The Customized Classic Facial runs about an hour, is tailored to skin type and avoids intense exfoliation. It can be paired with LED, extractions, high frequency or a light peel. A free consult is available beforehand for clients who want to talk through their goals before booking a custom facial.

The Customized Facial with Chemical Peel Add On also runs an hour and blends a relaxing facial with a light peel, which the studio describes as causing little or no flaking. For more concentrated results, a series of 6 to 8 chemical peels is recommended, with 2 to 3 series for optimal results. Skin typically begins to peel 2 to 3 days after a peel and may continue for up to 10 days.

The Acne Program is a series booked every two weeks at $89 per visit. The first visit lasts about 90 minutes and includes a consultation and a first treatment. Treatments gradually increase in strength and lead up to a level 4 or 5 chemical peel.

Treatment room products are described by the studio as professional grade and pharmaceutical grade. Gift cards in $40, $75, $125, $150 and $250 amounts, or a custom amount, can be used for any treatment or product, and paper cards can be picked up in person.
