The PediQween

The PediQween was founded by Naisha Frederick and is located in Suite 4 at 9681 Patriot Highway in Fredericksburg. The studio focuses on foot and nail care, from a quick pedicure for children to treatments designed for clients with medical needs.

The salon works directly with podiatrists and other healthcare providers who refer patients to it, and it communicates with referring providers to help keep care consistent. Clients who come without a referral can book the same foot wellness services.

Appointments begin with choosing a service. The Deep Clean Pedicure lifts buildup and softens hardened skin, and the salon suggests it for first-time guests. Men can book a standard Men Pedicure or the extended Men Pedicure Package, which includes a long soak, treatment of thickened skin, trimming and filing of the nails, and a closing massage. Implements are sterilized, and the team follows set sterilization procedures. According to the salon, its treatments are clinical-grade foot care, offered in what it calls a boutique spa setting.

Booking requires a 50% non-refundable deposit for all appointments, which is applied to the total cost of the service. Reservations are not held without a deposit and are released if payment is not received. Arrivals have a brief grace period; appointments more than 15 minutes late are rescheduled, once per service as a courtesy. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice and missed appointments lead to a six-month booking restriction and a $30 fee added to the next booking deposit.

The salon is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and it is closed on Sunday.

The salon pairs sterilized instruments and set sterilization protocols with communication to referring providers, and it does not diagnose or treat medical conditions such as ulcers, infections, open wounds, or fungal nail infections.
