The Pearl

The Pearl brings together independent beauty and wellness professionals in one location at 59 E Lake St in Sand Lake, Michigan. Each practitioner works from a rental suite, so clients book with the person they want rather than a single salon team. The collective describes itself as a one-stop place for care, and its services are grouped under beauty and wellness.

The offerings cover hair, skin, bodywork, scalp care, counseling and coaching. Hair services include color and extensions. Skin work includes facials and sugaring for hair removal. Bodywork ranges from massage therapy and reflexology to barefoot and Ashiatsu sessions. Scalp care includes microscope-based analysis and treatments, and wellness sessions and educational classes are also available.

The suites are rented to professionals in massage therapy, esthetics, hairstyling, midwifery, waxing, lashes, nail services and counseling. Counseling is provided through Lake Michigan Counseling, which works with individuals, families and couples and takes a whole-person, biopsychosocial view. Its listed specialties include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, addiction, ADHD, relationship issues and career coaching.

Coaching for teens and parents is offered through Rising Tide Solutions, both in person in Sand Lake and virtually.

The collective aims for a warm, personal and grounded experience with a luxury feel. Individual practitioners set their own methods, from holistic scalp work to whole-person counseling.
