Manicures and pedicures are done dry, without soaking, which the salon says keeps the skin and nail plate firm. Russian work uses an e-file with specialty bits to remove dead skin and detail the cuticle. Russian pedicures with bare or gel toes add a seaweed scrub, a mask and a gentle massage. The room is an airy, loft-style space with exposed wood.
Callus reduction is gradual, so several sessions may be recommended depending on how thick the skin is. The Callus Reduction Package includes a tube of urea foot cream for home use. Gel toes are described as lasting about 4 to 8 weeks, depending on how fast toenails grow. Gel manicures use a flexible gel with no tips or sculpted length, and the salon says it guarantees results.
Booking requires a deposit, which is non-refundable, and appointments must be made at least 24 hours ahead. Late cancellations within 24 hours are charged in full. Clients bringing gel from another salon should book a removal service with their manicure. A membership offers 10% off services and helps book the next two to three appointments. Diabetic and immunocompromised clients are asked to message before booking, and services are declined for active infections, fungus, contagious conditions or open sores.
