Clients can book online at any time, choosing the service, stylist and time slot. Both locations also take walk-ins. The Garden City salon is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Sunday and Monday by appointment only. The Stone Mountain salon is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Sunday and Monday by appointment only. Several services start with a consultation, including Sisterlocks establishment, Iconic Wicks, InstaLoc, Instant Loc Illusion, full-head loc re-attachment, Interlocs size-specific starts, microloc planning and permanent color. Trims are scheduled around product buildup, and the salon recommends a trim every 10 to 12 weeks.

Beyond the chair, the salon runs seminars and courses. Courses for parents of Black and biracial children are also offered.

The salon leans on education and consultation: its team sees itself as educators as well as stylists, and many of its loc and permanent services begin with a consultation so the plan fits the hair. Treatments are described in terms of what they do for the hair rather than promised outcomes.
