The Nail Prodigy

Appointments are booked through the online booking page, which opens weekly on Saturdays at 8pm. Squeeze-in visits are arranged by direct message or text rather than online, and carry an additional $30 fee that is not counted toward the total balance.

Booking is organized around service categories: builder gel manicures, creative model sets, custom recreation designs, fill-ins, freestyle work, French tips and a basics group. Add-ons are charged extra, and length is added to every appointment except short sets. Starter prices are listed for short sets.

A non-refundable $21.05 deposit is taken at booking, which includes a $1.05 processing fee on the card on file. $20 of that deposit goes toward the service total, and the remaining balance is paid in cash.

Punctuality and preparation matter here. Clients have a 15-minute grace period; a $10 fee applies after 10 minutes late, and appointments are canceled after 15 minutes. Extra guests are not allowed. Clients need to arrive free of gel polish and of any tips or acrylics, whether applied here or elsewhere, or remove existing tips or acrylics in advance when asked.

Some work is declined for nail health reasons: services are not done over damaged or extremely thin nail beds. Only one fill is allowed after a set, and fills more than three weeks after the previous service are not permitted. Soak-off services are not offered.

Rescheduling allows one move within the same calendar year using the same deposit; a second reschedule requires a new deposit. Cancellations inside the 24-hour window before an appointment incur a same-day $30 fee. Clients who do not call and do not show up are blocked from future booking.

The business is closed on Sundays and Mondays except for squeeze-ins. Confirmation and reminder emails go out 24 hours before each appointment. Messages can take up to 48 hours to answer, and those sent on a Sunday or Monday are answered from the following Tuesday.

Work is limited to nail beds that are in suitable condition, and the booking rules are designed to keep fills and sets on a predictable schedule.
