The Nail Nook

The Nail Nook is a small private studio on Commons Drive in Londonderry, set within the Main Event Entertainment office. The studio describes itself as private and book-inspired, and its work centers on gel nail services.

Visits are by appointment only and are one-on-one, so the attention stays entirely on the client. Appointments are meant to be relaxed and unhurried rather than like a busy salon floor. The room is cozy and quiet, built for individual appointments.

Gel work is the core of the menu: gel overlays, Full Coverage Gel Tips (also called Gel X), gel polish and gel nail art. The studio aims for durable, long-lasting nail results alongside personalized service. A men's haircut is also available, a traditional barber cut in the client's chosen style, finished with a hot lather around the neck and ears and a hot towel.

Hours are Wednesday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, closed Sunday through Tuesday. Cancellations or changes need at least 48 hours' notice to avoid penalties, and appointments cancelled within 24 hours incur the full fee. Children 12 and older are welcome. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and cash are accepted. Free parking is available, and amenities include WiFi, a snack bar, beer and wine, and disabled access.
