The Nail Lounge works from its Costa Mesa location on East 17th Street, with a menu of manicures and pedicures at several levels, from quick options to signature and luxury versions. Children are served too, with separate services for younger clients.

Pedicures are done in Footsie bath tubs with disposable liners that are discarded after each treatment. Stainless steel tools are cleaned, disinfected and heat-sterilized in an autoclave, and fresh files and buffers are used for every manicure and pedicure. The salon says it goes beyond California's requirements for nail salon cleanliness, and it describes its space as clean, comfortable and welcoming.

The salon is open Monday from 10:30 am to 5 pm and Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and it is closed on Sundays. Appointments cancelled or missed with less than two hours' notice carry a $25 fee for each service. Gift cards can be bought in store or online.

Services are arranged in tiers, with each step up adding treatments such as paraffin wax, massage or masks, and tools are sterilized between clients.
