The Mystic Vine

Tattoo inquiries are sent through an online form on the website, and online payments are taken through Square.

Every tattoo carries a shop minimum, which is the lowest amount charged for any piece. It covers sanitary setup and cleanup, equipment and single-use supplies, and applies per person per session. Work that takes longer than 30 minutes costs more than the minimum, and several small tattoos booked in one session are charged a flat or hourly rate.

Deposits are non-refundable and are credited toward the final cost at the final session. They can be kept by the shop for no-shows, cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours notice, more than two reschedules, arriving more than 30 minutes late, arriving without proper ID or intoxicated, excessive or last-minute design changes, or a tattoo left unfinished after two years. Deposits cannot be moved to another person or used with a different tattooer. Clients running 30 minutes or more late without warning may lose the appointment.

Custom tattoos are not copied. The shop will not reproduce a custom design, including one found online or made by another artist, and will create a similar original design instead. Flash designs can be reused and tattooed many times, with or without changes. Courtesy touch-ups are at the artist's discretion. Necessary healing touch-ups are free within six months, performed by the original artist once the tattoo has fully healed. Touch-ups caused by not following aftercare, or by changes to the agreed design, are charged as new tattoos. Healing on the head, face, genitals, feet or hands, including fingers, is not guaranteed and may not qualify for free touch-ups. Mistakes are corrected at no charge, but refunds are not given for any reason.

The tattoo shop is adults only. Clients may bring one adult guest over 18 who must not be disruptive. Minors are not allowed in the tattooing area at any time, and a minor accompanying an adult in the lobby may see nudity or hear adult language. Pets are barred from the tattooing area by the health department, while service animals are welcome in the lobby as long as they are not left unattended.
