The Mane Hotline

The Mane Hotline was previously known as BelowBeautyy. The studio says it was created to rethink salon culture, with an emphasis on celebrating everyone and giving people room for self-expression. It is set in a renovated house with a small sign out front, and the salon describes the space as safe, inclusive and relaxed.

Parking is available at the rear of the building, though the salon points out that the easiest option is the parking center across the street. Services are booked through the booking tab on the website, and listed services are for clients ages 15 and up. Questions about booking can also be sent by email, and the salon can be reached by phone.

Pricing is described as all-included and transparent. Curly hair cuts are personalized to hair type, curl pattern and the client's goals. Each appointment comes with education on maintaining and styling hair at home, along with a worksheet that summarizes the visit.

Color work covers lived-in looks blended to appear grown in from the roots, such as balayage and root smudging, as well as modern gray coverage and gray blending using Alfaparf color. Custom color is offered as a mini, partial or full head of color or highlights, and includes a gloss, cut and style. Vivid color and low-maintenance cuts are also offered. The salon offers gender-affirming and wearable cuts, including textured lobs and layers, drawing on techniques such as Vidal Sassoon methods and razor cutting.

The salon says it aims to create looks without compromising clients' health or values.
