Malama Aesthetics was established in 2021 by Dr. Keri Brown and has grown into a collective that works with small businesses in the local community. Its wellness philosophy takes its name from the Hawaiian concept of malama, which means care, protection and nurturing. The mission is to nurture beauty and wellness through those principles, with core values of integrity, inclusiveness, openness, quality and community.

The business describes its service as concierge style, with each treatment tailored to the client's goals. Before treatment, clients are asked to share their medical, surgical, medication and prior injection history, and their aesthetic and medical records are kept electronically in Aesthetics Pro.
