Courtney Feliciano founded the business and does the braiding herself. She started braiding as a teenager and has been doing it professionally for several years. Her focus is natural hair, including styles for children, and she puts customer service first at every appointment.
The menu runs from add-ons such as a detangle and blow out, hair beads and hair jewels, through box braids in several sizes, cornrows, twists, pony tails, tribal and triangle braids, and freestyle designs. Appointments are booked by length, from about 30 minutes for a detangle and blow out to around 8 hours for mid-back tribal braids.
A non-refundable deposit is required and is applied to the total price. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice. Hair should arrive washed, combed out and free of product, and the price can change if extra work is needed. Freestyle designs are quoted from a photo of the design and a photo of the client's hair, with a deposit of $25 or more.
Children from toddlers up are welcome. For children 3 and under, one parent or guardian may stay during the appointment; after a child's first two appointments, they may sit without a parent present, and a parent may step out to run errands. Siblings should stay home because space is limited.
