The Loft Salon

The Loft Salon opened in August 2008. It was founded by Nikki, a cosmetology school graduate from 2002, who opened it together with her mother, Valerie. The two set out to create a salon in the Maple Valley, Black Diamond and Covington area that reflected both of their individual styles.

The salon describes its atmosphere as relaxing and home-like, with plenty of energy without being loud. It says it is dedicated to service and value and promises each client individual attention.

Hair services are the core of the menu: cuts and styling, color and dimension work, conditioning treatments, and the Brazilian Blowout. Appointments are scheduled around stylist availability and the time each service takes, and listed prices are starting prices that can change depending on how complex the service is and how much product is used.

The salon carries several professional product lines and says its staff are trained to help clients choose products for home care. It also sells gift cards in any amount, bought in the salon or online.

The salon says it focuses on service and value and gives every client individual attention.
