The Lock Loft

The Lock Loft opened in 2018 with the aim of creating an inviting and refined space for clients. Rather than one salon team, it houses a group of independent hair professionals, each working on their own schedule and client book.

Because the stylists are independent, the salon does not take bookings by phone. Clients book through Vagaro or by contacting a stylist directly through Instagram or email. Clients receive text and email reminders before appointments.

Visits are kept simple. Clients are asked to arrive on time with clean, dry hair and to text their stylist when they arrive. Anyone more than 10 minutes late may need to reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are charged the full appointment total.

Clients can help themselves to coffee, water and snacks. Free parking is usually found on the nearby side streets, while paid metered spots sit directly in front of the salon or across the road beside Donato's.

The salon also hosts education courses so its stylists can keep up with current trends.

The salon was built around a space that feels welcoming and polished, with stylists working independently under one roof.

The setting is intended to feel inviting and refined.
