The Koko Bella

The Koko Bella was founded in 2015 by Neka G. It started with lash extensions and beauty services and later added wellness gatherings and workshops. The stated mission is to create spaces where people can pause, heal, grow and reconnect with themselves, others and their community.

On the beauty side, the studio offers Signature Lashes in classic, hybrid and volume styles, along with Brow Sculpting and Skin Sugaring, a hair removal service that removes hair from the root. The team is described as licensed estheticians. The studio says its products are made with top-quality ingredients.

Wellness sessions can be booked in person or virtually. They include the Sacred Reset guided meditation, a sound experience, spiritual attunement and an inner work session. Gatherings include sound experiences, prophetic journaling circles and Sister Circle. Neka G.'s own wellness sessions are faith-based, private and personalized.

Peer support is offered through Koko Bella Diamonds, which describes itself as non-clinical and accepts Medicaid. Its program has three levels, Bloom, Rooted and Rise, and it lists transitional housing with short-term and long-term recovery housing options. Koko Bella Diamonds states it does not offer licensed therapy, diagnosis or medical treatment, and says its services are led by Certified Peer Recovery Supporters.

Clients can also book private events for up to 25 guests, including sister circles, retreats, team building and date nights. The event space has a front lounge for about 18 guests and a back room that can be set up with floor seating for up to 15 or banquet seating for about 18. Rental is $100 per hour with a two-hour minimum, booked with a 50% deposit and the balance due 7 days before the event. Food and beverages are welcome, free parking is available, and bookings and rentals are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
