The Key 2 Beauty describes itself as a braiding business offering a range of braided styles and beauty products.

Services are grouped into basic feed-in braiding, feed-in braided styles, kids' braids, knotless braids, men's braids, traditional box braids, touch-ups and a few other styles. Kids' styles are offered for regular clients aged 10 and under.

Booking requires a $32 non-refundable deposit, which includes a $2 processing fee and $30 toward the total. An appointment is only confirmed once the deposit arrives, and the remaining balance is paid in cash at the visit. Clients are asked to arrive with clean hair that has been washed, blow-dried and combed out, with minimal to no oil. Extra guests and children are not allowed because seating is limited. Arriving 15 minutes late adds a $10 late charge, and a 30-minute delay means rebooking. Changes need 4 days (96 hours) notice and depend on openings. A no call, no show is charged half the remaining balance to the card on file.

House calls are available from a starting price of $125. The Maitland salon is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm, and Monday and Sunday are off days, though the business will work those days for an additional $100.
