The Indigo Salon

The Indigo Salon started as an idea to raise leadership standards in the hair industry. It was once an Aveda salon and later moved to a different distributor. The team has since downsized into a salon suite inside Copper + Mane, which is where clients find it today.

Color is the core of the salon. Its primary line is Organethic Pure Care, a set of colors formulated with oils that the salon says protect and strengthen hair, reduce inflammation and moisturize. The salon calls it the shiniest and healthiest color it has created. Its support line, evo, is used for demi and fashion colors.

Extensions are offered, with a few firm rules. Extensions are installed only when they are bought from the salon. Other extensions can be removed but not reinstalled. Extension guarantees depend on keeping appointment timing and doing the recommended homecare, and coloring or moving the hair elsewhere during the guarantee period voids it. The salon also offers the Calecim hair loss system, which was introduced in February 2025. The salon describes Calecim as a system that works and has no side effects.

Booking works through the salon's online system, which requires a deposit on the services booked. Cancellations or no-shows without 48 hours' notice forfeit the deposit. Without a deposit, a 50% charge applies to a no-show or a late cancellation before the next booking, and repeated missed appointments may lead to full payment upfront or walk-in only booking. Partial refunds are available for cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment. New color clients must complete a consultation before booking. Prime hours are 9am to 5pm Wednesday through Friday and 9am to 3pm Saturday, though schedules vary by stylist. After-hours appointments carry a 20% fee, paid in full at booking. Service complaints must be reported within 5 days of the visit, and the salon will redo the service within 14 days, possibly with a different stylist. Retail products can be returned within 10 days for store credit if unopened or unused, with a 20% restocking fee for returns between day 10 and day 21. Hair services are not guaranteed unless homecare products were bought from the salon, and chemical services need recently purchased homecare products to carry a guarantee. Questions can be sent by text, phone or social message, though phone and social messages are not watched around the clock.
