The Hair Room

The Hair Room is a hair salon in Grain Valley with a team of cosmetologists and a hairstylist, led by owner Melissa Butcher, whose work centers on color and blonding. New clients book a 60-minute consultation rather than a 30-minute cut.

Esthetics is offered under the name Honorable Esthetics, with Emily Knox as the esthetician. The facial menu includes a Pumpkin Purify Facial, which uses a pumpkin peel and two masks along with a neck and shoulder massage, ice globes and steamy towels, plus a Relaxation Facial and a Microdermabrasion Facial. The Glow Up package combines a 30-minute express facial, a lash lift and tint, and a brow wax and tint. Brow lamination and tint and lash lift and tint are booked only on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and brow lamination and lash lift requested on other days are arranged through Emily Knox.

Listed hair prices include a full foil at $250.00, taking about four hours, and a partial foil at $185.00, taking about three hours 15 minutes; both include cut, style and thermal. A mini foil of 20 to 25 foils is listed at $145.00, with $20.00 for a root touch-up in between. All over color is listed at $150.00 and a root touch-up at $130.00. A 60-minute cut with wash, style and flat or curling iron is listed at $70.00, a 30-minute men's, kid's or women's cut with no style at $45.00, and a bang trim at $15.00. A conditioning treatment can be added for $35.00. Foil services carry an extra charge for any additional color or toner.

Other listed services include facial waxing for one area at $20.00 with $10.00 for each additional area, a brow tint and wax at $35.00, and a 30-minute color consult at no charge. Honorable Esthetics sells professional skincare products, and the salon's Square shop lists clothing categories including tops and bottoms.
