The salon's focus is on the client's needs and on helping each person reach the healthiest hair they can. Deanna meets each client in a one-on-one consultation to shape a hair care plan for that person, and the salon says a large share of its business comes from repeat clients and referrals.

Services are grouped into basic hair care such as shampoo, conditioning, blow dry, styling and roller sets, precision cutting, ends maintenance, relaxers and relaxer retouches, plus full, partial and highlight color, semi-permanent and permanent color, and retouches. Customized conditioning includes deep conditioning and protein treatments. Weaves are offered in full and partial versions, and SO.CAP extensions are available with a consultation first.

SO.CAP extensions attach with a keratin-protein bond that is softened and formed around the natural hair, with no glues, waxes, braids, knotting or welding. Application takes roughly an hour for every 30 strands and at least two hours, and the bonds last about three to five months depending on the client's hair and care. Removal uses a special solution and tool and does not remove natural hair. The extensions are not reusable because the bond is broken at removal. The salon notes that extensions are not recommended for hair loss caused by illness.

Visits are by appointment. Cancellations should be made 24 hours ahead, and an improper cancellation carries a $35 fee charged at the next visit. Arriving 15 minutes late counts as late and may mean a longer wait. Payments are due at the time of service, and the salon accepts cash and credit, with a 2.9% service charge on credit. Children under 16 should only be brought in when they are receiving services. Standing appointments are available and recommended. Open Tuesday to Friday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; closed Sunday and Monday.
