The Glow Nook

The Glow Nook is a studio in Hesperia, California, built around the idea that looking after yourself should not feel complicated. The studio describes its services as wellness-focused and aims for a setting that feels personal, comfortable and relaxed rather than clinical.

Facials are the core of the menu. Each one starts with a consultation and skin analysis, then moves through a double cleanse, exfoliation, extractions as needed, a custom mask, massage and finishing products. Modalities such as dermaplaning, LED light therapy, high frequency, gua sha and oxygen infusion are included when they suit a client's skin and goals, with no upcharges. First-time clients book the 90-minute New Client Facial, which leaves extra time for a consultation and skin analysis.

ASMR sessions are offered in person as their own service. Each session is personalized, the room is kept quiet after the consultation, and clients may fall asleep during treatment. Mood add-ons called Rainy Day, Autumn, Fireside, Ocean and Sleepytime are complimentary, and a monthly membership at $95 includes one 75-minute Signature session.

Spray tans are applied by hand, with extra attention to hands, feet and other tricky areas. Every appointment includes a consultation, prep and post spray, disposable supplies and finishing powder. Options include a classic or rapid tan, a Bestie Tan with two custom tans in one visit, and a Bridal Tan that includes a trial and a wedding tan. The solutions are described as vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free, and free of parabens, sulfates and mineral oils. Tans typically last about 7-10 days with preparation and aftercare, and the studio suggests booking 2-3 days before an event.

There is no waiting room, so clients wait in their vehicle until their appointment time. Booking is done online. A 50% deposit is applied to the service total at booking, with the balance due at the visit. Cancellations or changes need at least 48 hours' notice for individual appointments, and group spray tans need 72 hours. A 10-minute grace period applies to late arrivals.

The studio's philosophy is that taking care of yourself should feel uncomplicated, and treatments are chosen around each client's skin and goals.
