The Glazed Cat is a waxing studio in Suite 107 at 3246 Academy Ave in Portsmouth. Services range from single-area waxes such as underarms, lip, chin or arms to full body waxing, and the studio also offers Brazilian waxing in several forms, including a combination service it calls Bruhzilian. Clients of all genders are welcome.

Brazilian waxing removes all hair from the front and includes a strip along the buttocks. Some Brazilian visits include a few extractions, and more thorough extractions can be added on. Vajacials and detox masks are offered as treatments, and a HydroJelly mask can be added to a visit for an extra fee.

Booking is by appointment. The studio is open Thursday from 6 PM to 7:30 PM, Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM, and it is closed Monday through Wednesday and on Sunday. New clients can book a lower-priced first Brazilian wax, which is for first-time clients only. Booking deposits apply to several Brazilian and bikini services, and Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment.

The studio also sells handmade aftercare products, and it offers packages, memberships and gift cards. For people who want to learn, one-on-one full body waxing training is available.
