The Gel Suite is an independent studio operated by its owner, Nhu Tran, in a private suite at Salon Lofts in Minnetonka. Ownership and the hands-on nail work sit with one person.
Structured gel is the core of the work. BIAB structured gel manicures are done on bare nails and add strength, including a dry manicure treatment; they do not add length. Fills are available for existing structured gel nails. Gel x is also offered, and nail art can be added as an extra.
Booking is by appointment only, and clients should come alone. Anyone adding nail art should let the studio know beforehand so enough time can be reserved. Clients running late should text or call right away, since appointments may be changed after 15 minutes. Cancellations or rescheduling need at least 24 hours' notice. The studio is open Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and is closed Sunday.
The studio says its aim is to help clients grow out natural nails and keep them strong and healthy, and that its work is meant to last for weeks.
