The Garden, Crown Care Studio, is located in Suite 102 at 8389 Sudley Road in Manassas. Founder Naayo Rocke started the studio after more than 15 years in the beauty industry. The studio works with clients who wear their hair curly, twisted, braided, stretched or pressed, and aims to help them build a routine that is simpler to keep up.

About

A visit starts with an assessment of each client's hair, followed by a conversation about their current routine. New clients can book a 30-minute consultation for $30, or the New Client Crown Care Session, a 2-hour appointment at $210 that includes a consultation, cleanse and condition, personalized treatment as needed, a crown style up to medium sizing and at-home recommendations. Returning clients can book the 2-hour Returning Client Crown Care at $185, which covers cleansing, conditioning, treatment, regimen adjustments and a crown style. Extra time beyond the session can be booked as Extra Time, starting at $30 and charged in 15-minute increments.

Booking works in steps: clients choose a style or service first, then add any add-ons, since cuts, trims and treatments are only offered as add-ons to an appointment. Package credits apply automatically at checkout when booking through the Services page. Hair should arrive fully detangled, and a detangling fee is added if more time is needed. Clients coming out of a protective style should remove it before the appointment unless takedown is booked. The studio is closed Monday through Wednesday, open Thursday and Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. A 30% cancellation fee applies, and new clients pay a $30 deposit for the New Client Crown Care Session and LOC Starting. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment. Children ages 9 and older are welcome when accompanied by a parent or responsible adult and able to sit through the appointment.
