The Fixx

The Fixx is a hair salon on N Olympic Avenue in Arlington. Its three stylists offer women's haircuts, color retouches and all-over color, partial, three-quarter and full highlights, and sew-in extensions.

The waiting area is small and fits only a few people. Children who are receiving a service cannot be left unattended in the salon, and children are generally not allowed at appointments unless they are being serviced, with an exception for nursing babies. Anyone aged 17 or younger must have a parent or legal guardian present for their consultation.

Cancellations and rescheduling need 24 hours' notice. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may be rescheduled or have their service adjusted to fit the open time, and late cancellations, no-shows or missed appointments may be charged a fee. Questions can be sent to fixxstudio@gmail.com.

Hair service redos are done by the same stylist at no charge when requested within one week of the appointment. Redos do not cover a change in style or color, and the full-service price applies to redo requests made after three days. Guarantees for hair services are decided by the stylist, and no refunds are offered for hair services.

The salon sells eGift cards in $25, $50, $75 and $100 amounts or for a custom value. Cards can be bought for one recipient or as a group gift through the stylist's gift card page.
