The Fix Wellness Lounge grew out of a smaller boutique practice that Dr. Lisette Beam operated in Manhattan Beach for nearly a decade, and it is now the larger version of that work. Its approach looks at underlying causes, manages chronic conditions and works on improving performance, drawing on functional medicine alongside contemporary wellness protocols.
Chiropractic care is at the core of the lounge. Each visit opens with an evaluation that can include movement analysis, a physical assessment, and a conversation about health history and goals. Treatment may combine spinal adjustments, soft tissue work and advanced modalities such as Neubie neuromuscular stimulation, TECAR, focused shockwave and Electron Plus. Visits range from short, focused tune-ups to longer, more comprehensive sessions. The stated aims include better spinal alignment and nervous system function, less pain and tension, improved mobility, and support for injury recovery and prevention.
The space is set up in zones. The Spa Zone covers heat, cold and contrast therapy, including infrared sauna, cryotherapy, cold plunge and contrast sessions that alternate the two. The MVMT Zone offers biomechanics-based mobility and strength training, Neubie performance training and guided stretching. The Zen Zone focuses on restorative work for stress and tension, including massage and NIR arc light therapy. Hyperbaric oxygen sessions run 60 or 90 minutes in a chamber the business describes as medical-grade, and clients can watch shows or listen to music during a session.
Monthly recovery memberships come in three levels, with the higher levels including hyperbaric sessions and NIR red light sessions, and a family add-on at the upper two levels. An annual Executive Resilience membership bundles chiropractic care, hyperbaric oxygen, NIR light bed sessions and strength training. Members receive member-only rates on extra recovery services and IV therapy. Payment plans run through Cherry, a third-party provider, with 0% APR options that depend on eligibility, credit score and other factors. The site states there are no hidden fees on these plans.
Plans are individualized and combine chiropractic care, functional medicine and recovery therapies.
The business describes the space as serene and state-of-the-art.
