The Extension Lounge Eureka

The Extension Lounge is owned by Grace Johnson, who has worked as a stylist since 2009 and began offering hair extensions in 2021. The studio combines extension work with color, and its focus is natural-looking, dimensional, live-in color.

Extension installs use beaded row or hand-tied and genius flat wefts. The beaded row method forms a track of beads and string that holds the wefts, spreading their weight across the scalp, with the wefts placed above and below the beads so they stay hidden. Install packages begin at $2,000, and the final price depends on the guest's hair goals, needs and concerns, so it is discussed during the consultation.

Dimensional color appointments start at $340 and are sold as packages that can include gray coverage or gray blending, dimensional highlights and lowlights, a scalp massage and treatment, and a cut and blowdry. Between moveup appointments, root touchups cover gray hair. All new installs and color services are packaged, while refresh appointments for extension guests are priced a la carte.

Payment plans for new installs are offered in partnership with Cherry, with 0% interest monthly payments and no hard credit checks. Products used and sold include the KEVIN.MURPHY line of shampoos, conditioners, treatments and styling products.

Pairs hair extensions with color while aiming to maintain the health of each client's natural hair. Pricing is set around the individual's goals during a consultation rather than a fixed menu.
