Nicole entered esthetics school in 1999. Before opening her own clinic she had modeled professionally in the late 1980s and early 1990s, then worked at salons, spas and a plastic surgeon's practice, and spent more than 20 years providing services at well-regarded spas in the Chicago area.

Each visit can begin with Zone-by-Zone Face Mapping, a skin analysis used to build a customized treatment plan. The menu covers facials, body treatments and waxing, and the business says it treats for results rather than trends, keeps up with ongoing education, and uses professional products with botanicals, vitamins and minerals. Personalized product prescriptions for at-home regimens are also offered.

Policies to know before booking: changes or cancellations need 24 hours' notice, clients are asked to call if they expect to be more than 10 minutes late, and services and products are non-refundable. Children are not allowed in the treatment room. Waxing is not performed for clients using Retin-A, Renova, Accutane, certain exfoliants, or those undergoing radiation or chemotherapy. Prices are subject to change.

Treatments are planned around results rather than passing trends, with personalized skin care regimens and at-home product prescriptions.
